The traditional marriage which took place at Ekpan Community in Uvwie local government area of Delta State, respectively were witnessed by top GKS governing body of elders, and politicians both from within the state and beyond as well as business tycon and many members of the God’s Kingdom Society from across Delta State, who came to identify and show love to the couples.

Madam Ikoba (mother ), described her daughter’s marriage as a beautiful and wonderful institution put in place by God not only for procreation but also for companionship between man and woman.

She noted that the marriage institution has strong and unbreakable spiritual relationship with God’s kingdom, and therefore should not be toyed with by anybody.

Madam Ikoba maintained that many of the challenges tasking human existence today were as a result of unstable and broken marriages.

The mother stressed that it was the mind of God to make marriage work for husband and wife, and warned that nobody should do anything to undermine or put asunder in any marriage, as anybody who tries to do that will end up bruising him or herself, noting that God strongly abhors divorce.

She further admonished married couples to always work and remain committed to their marital vows, saying they should maintain the sanctity of marriage in all areas of their lives.

She urged the newly married couple, Mr and Mrs Nwaneto to always cherish and love each other without any reservation. “You should be proud of each other, even with your individual faults and weaknesses. Let devotion, commitment, trust and undivided attention for each other by the hallmarks of your marriage,” Egwolo Ikoba advised.

A S A B A – Delta Commissioner for Works, Chief James Augoye has congratulated Delta state Secretary to the Government, SSG, Chiedu Ebie on his 49th birthday.

Augoye in a statement on thursday to Aljaziral reporters online newspaper, urged all Deltans to always pray for sustained good health and wisdom for the state secretary to the government of Delta state as he steers the affairs of secretaryship in promotion of a stronger Delta.

Commissioner for works joined thousands of other Deltans in wishing Chiedu Ebie a memorable birthday celebration.

He added that the task of addressing issues confronting governance and its challenges is a collective responsibility.

Oborevwori Celebrates Delta SSG,  Ebie At 49

The Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori has congratulated the Secretary to the State Government ( SSG), Barrister Chiedu Ebie on his 49th birthday.

Felicitating with the SSG on his birthday, the Speaker described him as tested and trusted, adding that he is a very thorough person.

In a Press Statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Dennis Otu, on Thursday, the Speaker prayed to Almighty God to grant the SSG good health and many fruitful years.

2020: Oborevwori Urges  Nigerians  To  Pray For   Nation,  Leaders  *** Says Nigerians  Must  Keep Hope Alive

The Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori has called on Nigerians to pray for the nation and leaders at all levels, urging them to remain hopeful and steadfast in the New Year.

Rt Hon Oborevwori in his New Year message to Nigerians in general and Deltans in particular felicitated with them as they stepped into the New Year.

In a Press Statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Dennis Otu, on Tuesday, the Speaker called for prayers for the nation and leaders, saying that with God all things are possible.

According to the statement; ” I want to first and foremost thank the Almighty God for ushering us into the New Year in good health. God has been so faithful to us. In all that we do, let us always put God first. I want to implore our people to pray for peace and unity of the Country and our leaders for God to give them uncommon wisdom to continue to pilot the affairs of this great nation in the right direction. I want to specifically implore Deltans to sustain the prevailing peace and harmony in the state. Okowa donates 21 operational vehicles to Delta police for effective operational system

Delta State Police command has set up a special operational squad code name “Safe Delta” to strengthen the operational capacity and security patrol throughout the state.

According to a release, the operation was in response to the security challenges posed by what the command described as ‘the rapidly changing dynamics of crime and criminality in the society’, saying it was to continually review and re-jig the security architecture of the command.

The released signed by the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Onome Onovwakpoyeya, said that the new squad had been given twenty-one (21) operational vehicles donated by the Delta State Government.

It said that the vehicles were deployed to cover the three senatorial districts in the state of Delta North, Delta South, and Delta Central, adding that each district was further divided into sub sector for effective coverage.

In the same vein, the vehicles are numbered according to their area of coverage for the purpose of identification.

While noting that members of the squad had been trained and properly briefed on what was expected of them, the release enjoined members of the public to use Police Control Room number 08036684974 to make distress call or complaint against any member of the team or the patrol team.

Delta Community host Dr. Akpoveta, Says God will bless the day he was born to us

OFUOMA COMMUNITY Turns to a fiesta ground as both old and young celebrates the birth of Jesus Christ at the Compound of the Chairman, Delta State Contributory Health Commission, Olorogun Dr. Isaac Akpoveta recently amidst jubilation.

It was a gathering of who is who in Ughelli North and As part of its sensitization activities for the State’s Health Insurance Scheme, the Chairman of the commission pay for a 100 indigent women and men of the community, from above 60yrs of age for free registration and to have access to free healthcare with in their reach. These announcement throw both aged and young into celebration mood as musicians and orator thrill invittees to dance and many swimming in laughter .

According to aljaziral reporters , that when visited, it was a stand still, because as big as the compound , no single space to stand nor sit. The country home of the Commission’s chairman was widely open to all.

High point of the ceremony was the presentations of diffetent awards by Hostcommunity and Ufuoma Community youths who named and gave him the uncommon title of the Awhotu 1 of Ufuoma. Dr. Akpoveta who in his usual style of polite manner filled with happiness. Seen graciously handshaking both young and old .
