DELTA CENTRAL- The just concluded NASS Election in Delta Central has reveal that most leaders in Delta Central are nursing grievances towards each other because of political positions.

Chief Ighoyota Amori has been alleged of working against PDP during the just concluded Presidential and NASS Election. A secret source disclosed that Chief Amori promised to fail Hon. Evelyn Omovowan Oboro because she emerged as the PDP Senatorial candidate. That PDP must pay the price for killing his political career.

According to our source , after Oboro emerged as the PDP Senatorial candidate at the primaries , immediately Amori order all his die – hard supporters to work for Sen. Barr. Ovie Omo-Agege and make sure he return back to the red Chambers.

“That during the electoral process Amori deliver Mosogor for APC with about 17,000 votes and gave pdp with just 2000 to fulfill his earlier promise he made when Oboro won the PDP Senatorial primary .

Warri was full of celebration as Peoples Democratic Party Candidate for Warri Federal Constituency Seat, Chief Thomas Ereyitomi JP wins the seat to represent Warri South , Warri South-West and Warri North that make up the federal constituency in the House of Representatives.

The Warri Federal constituency House of Representatives elect, Chief Ereyitomi defeated his incumbent Hon. Daniel Reyenieju of SDP who has been in the reps for the Fourth term with distance margin scoring as follows Warri North 25,788,
Warri south 23,018 and he hot the tsunamic widest score from
Warri South West with 104,070, while total votes pulled stood at 152, 876 as announced by INEC and declared by the returning officer, Dr. Ogifo INEC officer in Warri, Delta State.

In his acceptance remark the Honourable member elect to represent Warri Federal Chief Thomas Ereyitomi JP appreciated the electorates for the confidence reposed on him, he promised to work for the people and attract development to the constituency.

He Advised his co contestants to accept defeat and come join him to make warri Federal Constituency to be great again.

The State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Barr. Peter Mrakpor l, has won his polling unit. Ughelli ward 8, unit 2,3.

Delta state attorney and commissioner for Justice, Barr. Peter Mrakpor, has expressed satisfaction over the performance of Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, card readers and the peaceful co- existence of Ughelli South electorates.

Beside since morning I have not left my community “Edjophe” and we have not heard of any incident of electoral fraud in any area within Ughelli South, the commissioner also expressed happeness over the electoral process in Ughelli South thanked the people of the LGA for their cooperations and understanding for total, that peace was expected in the election.

The commissioner, who voted at 9:10am, observed that despite the crowd their was peaceful accreditation and election started on a good note.

He said: “So far, its been nice, peaceful and no cause for alarm.”

He said people in the queue should be allowed to vote even if it exceeds the 2pm deadline for voting.

he also noted that election is not a do or die affairs.would be very happy if the peaceful process continues till the election ends.

OGONI – OLOMU , AS Nigerians get ready for general elections tomorrow Saturday, Hon.Prince Sony Jifas aka the King of the youths has urged all youths of the revered Kingdom ( Olomu ) not to engage in any activity that is unholy to successful electoral process tomorrow.

Prince Sony jifas made the call at his country home during a massive gathering with all Olomu kingdom youths.

According to him, “this election involves all of us, we are concerned just like every Nigerian for the best person to emerge and our members should not be seen engaging in action that is illegal in any way or actions that will mar the success of the elections.

“Olomu kingdom youths are law-abiding, most of us are adults who are qualified to vote, some of our members are contesting in the elections; we should go out on the days of the elections, cast our votes as expected for the People’s Democratic party , pdp, 5/5 and watch the process,” he said.

He added: “we should not be involved in any act of thuggery or be seen to be engaging in anything that is illegal.

“I want to also appeal to leaders including those who are contesting in the elections to avoid influencing our able youths in election malpractices anyone who is caught doing such would face the wrath of the law; we desire a successful, peaceful, free and fair elections where the all PDP candidates would emerge ,” prince sony said while commending Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta state for engaging in issue-based campaigns.

“our governor, Senator Okowa has displayed an exemplary style of campaign and we can confidently say that we, the members of pdp are greatful of his campaign style which involves commissioning of roads, in every part of Delta State – yes. our governor is commissioning road projects and we must commend him for his actions.

SOKOTO-The Sokoto state chapter of the People’s Democratic party, PDP, just barely three days to the rescheduled general elections, has made a big catch into its fold as Alhaji Sani Muhammad Gobirawa, Northwest Zonal Vice President of the Nigerian Union of Pensioners and top notch of the Buhari Support Organisation(BSO) “Buhari Sak” in Sokoto defects from APC.

Gobirawa who currently is at the vanguard as Vice Chairman of the Aminu Waziri Tambuwal(AMATA) Support Group exclusively told The Nation in Sokoto Wednesday that his defection along with others in the BSO was voluntary and based on their conviction that PDP is the most fulfilling political platform that symbolises the democracy for Nigeria to work again.

” Our decision to join PDP was purely based on our firm conviction of the ability and capability of Governor Aminu’s reality and myth, as such, we don’t need the approval or inclination of any family to actualize our political aspirations”, he pointed out.

According to the Pensioners top echelon who similarly seized opportunity to clear the air on some misinformation on his defection, said ” I have to put it straight to the people of the state and to shame doubting Thomases that as a Nigerian and an adult with my senses, I can decide on which party to join without associating my actions to any family.

” This clarification has become necessary for Sokoto people to discountenance insinuations from some quarters associated with family issue”, he explained.

The political opinion leader and elder who also holds a traditional title of ‘ Wakilin Gwiwa and Walin Dabagin Ardo’ in the state continued, ” when I joined BSO I did not seek the permission nor associated my membership to any family.”

Gobirawa however, urged the public to focus on issues and not personality as to the issue of choice in a democratic setting where a citizen has the right to freely associate and express his wish as to his or her aspiration.

He said his group remain determined and focused with resilience for the success of PDP and for the reelection of Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal.

A former House of Representatives Candidate for Okpe Sapele Uvwie Federal Constituency under the All Progress Congress APC now Chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party PDP in Okpe Local Government Area, Honourable Kennedy Eyube has asked President Mohammadu Buhari to withdraw and apologize or resign over his order to the police and military asking them to shoot ballot Box Snatcher during the forthcoming election.Just as he described the order as an invitation to anarchy which might be difficult to curtain” It might lead to war when people are being killed their loved ones will not keep quiet even a mad man have brothers and sisters.” He added that Nigeria as a country has laws as stipulated in the Constitution that deals with electoral offenders.

Honourable Eyube in an interactive session with newsmen in Warri also said that Governor Okowa of Delta State has turn the state into ‘ Construction Site if you are going to Asaba from Ughelli you will see the massive works going on.So i dont see any other candidate other than Okowa.” For this and other reasons he said Okpe Local Government is 100,,%PDP and the people are going to give Governor Okowa and PDP 5/5 in the forthcoming general elections.” When I left APC, APC die natural death in Okpe.So Okpe is completely PDP and we are going to give it 5/5 ” .

The PDP leader who exppressed bitterness over the action of Mr President concluded that because he is aware that he has fail Nigerians and knowing fully well that they are not going to vote for him due to the level of killings, poverty and unemployment associated with his government,” That is why he is threatening Nigerians so that they cannot come out and vote,but he will fail.”He added Nigerians are going to come out and vote out the ruling APC since the promises they made in 2015 are ” Fake”

Honourable Eyube said he wonder why a president would want to kill those he wants to rule over.” I see the directive as a disgrace to this country.when a president will incite the police and the military against it’s own citizens.It a is strong blunder on the part of the president He should withdraw it, apologize to Nigerians or he should resign.” Stressing that the action of Mr President is illegal which does not fall within the context of Constitution of Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Noting that action of the president is not targeted against the People’s Democratic Party PDP but against the entire Nigerian People can lead to anarchy and even war.He urged security personnel to follow due process while dealing with their fellow Nigerians who might have committed any electoral offence.He said it is not normal for a president to order his people to be killed and as such based on the way Mr President talks it is proper he should be properly examine to avoid the country sliding into choas.

Honourable Eyube said that the order might be an attempt to justify and cage opposition leaders during the election and tag them ballot Box Snatchers.He blamed those advising Mr President for not giving him quality advise or advising him properly.He stressed that it is an attempt by the president to comeback through the back door by threatening Nigerians so that his APC can have a free day during the election.While wondering what might have informed such decision by Mr President he said it is alarming to see a president who kept mute when his kinsmen (Fulani herdsmen) were busying killing Nigerians and the armless Indigenous people of Biafra IPOB .but can give such an order against Nigerians.” Nigerians are tired of Buhari Government too much killings.He knows they will not vote for him.That is reason for all these.If not how can a president want to kill his own people?”

Honourable Eyube said that despite the attempt by Mr President to threaten Nigerians so that his party can have a field day.He ,disclosed that Nigerians are resolute in voting for the PDP in the general election.Since according to him the present government change matra which they promised has fail.He concluded that under the PDP administration a bag of rice was 8,000,00 naira and a litre of fuel was 87naira .But today is under the APC government a bag of rice is about 25,000,00 naira and a litre of fuel is 145 naira ” .So Nigerians are tired of the APC government.They want to change the change by 23,March,2019.by voting out the APC and Buhari”
