MANDATORY ELECTRONIC TRANSMISSION OF RESULTS IS THE ONLY WAY OUT BY MARTINS OKE

Dr Austin Akpo Ofomana said that the only way out of elections quagmire and manipulation in Nigeria is not just only the electronic transmission of elections results but also electronic voting as well.Just as he called on the Urhobos of Delta Central Senatorial District to vote an alternative person come 2027 for what he described as the ignominious role Senator Ede Dafinone played by joining others to betray the Nigerian People who are calling for the Electronic Transmission of Election Results.

Dr Ofomana who was speaking with journalists in Abraka expressed disappointment over the attitude of the National Assembly most especially Senator Ede Dafinone said Urhobo People did not send him to go and do contrary to their wish in Abuja.

For him to go against the wishes of the Nigerian People most especially Urhobos who are in support of Electronic Transmission of Result,it therefore means he is not representing them and he should forget their votes come 2027 because Urhobo People did not ask him to support Electronic Transmission with a caveat of Manual Source of Result where Network fails! So he should forget them because he has betrayed them .Electronic Transmission of Result is mandatory that is Urhobo and Nigerian People are saying.

He did not consult before joining his colleagues to go against the Nigerian People.
I salute the courage of the 15 Senators who stood by the Nigerian People,I salute Senators Eyinaya Abaribe, Aminu Tambuwal,Akpoti Natasha UDUAGHAN,Serieke Dickson, and others who stood firm for the Nigerian Masses.

Dr Ofomana said that he stands firmly with the Nigerian People on the Electronic Transmission of Election Results and Electronic Voting.Adding that apart from the 30 Members of the Federal House of Representatives and the 15 Senators who stood for the Nigerian People the others have shown by their character and voting pattern that they are enemies of the Nigerian People.

Dr Austin Akpo Ofomana who is contesting for the Senate, Delta Central Senatorial District come 2027 said those who voted against the Nigerian People are not supposed to be in Red or Green Chambers by now they are supposed to resign because Nigerians have no trust nor confidence on them anymore!

They have passed vote of no confidence on themselves! So the right thing to do is for those who betrayed the Nigerian People to quit the National Assembly!
Definitely Nigerians are going to vote them out by 2027. Their actions showed that they do not have the mandate of the Nigerian People,if they do , they wouldn’t have gone contrary to what Nigerians want.

Dr Austin Akpo Ofomana is flying the Central Senatorial District race under the platform of the Labour Party.

Waive: A Miscarriage in Public Office, a Disgrace of a  Representative – Otiti

The conduct of Francis Waive in the Green Chamber has become a troubling symbol of everything that is presently wrong with political representation in our constituency.

He should not be rewarded with another mandate after presiding over such a disappointing and uninspiring record.

At a time when sober judgment, restraint and moral authority are urgently required, Waive has chosen theatrics, confrontation and personal grandstanding.

Such behaviour is not merely unbecoming of a public servant; it is a direct affront to the dignity of the people he claims to represent.
The floor of the House of Representatives of Nigeria is meant for men and women of proven character, intellectual depth and national outlook.

For the people of Ughelli and Udu, this is a painful betrayal. Representation is not about personal relevance or media visibility; it is about service, consultation and results. Sadly, Waive has failed to translate his privileged position into meaningful advocacy for his constituents. Instead, he has consistently projected an image of self interest and political immaturity, leaving many residents disillusioned and embarrassed by the quality of leadership sent to the national parliament in their name.

Even more disturbing is the growing perception that Waive’s conduct is driven by personal ambition rather than public duty, his useless media dogs are now on media to defend their paymaster, what a shame …

At a moment when families are grappling with economic hardship, insecurity and declining public confidence in governance, his priorities appear detached from the realities on the ground. A representative who cannot rise above personal ego cannot be trusted to rise in defence of the people.

The forthcoming 2027 general election must therefore become a decisive turning point. Democracy survives only when citizens are prepared to reject failure and reward competence. Waive has been tested by responsibility and found unfit for the weight of public trust.

History is unforgiving to those who waste rare opportunities for service. Francis Waive has, regrettably, reduced a noble office to a platform for disruption and self-promotion. For the sake of our constituency and the future of credible representation, he should no longer be considered a viable choice for public office.
